On January 21st, 2025, Auburn University got snow for the first time since 2018 causing a campus wide shut down shifting classes to online learning, limiting the rec center hours, and postponing the annual Polar Plunge. The free event for Auburn students now takes place on Thursday January 30th, 2025.
Come to the Rec pool on the 30th to take a polar plunge and grab yourself a cup of hot chocolate and a free beanie!
