The CWE Parent Run and Walk occurs on the second morning of each Camp War Eagle 2025 session and starts at 6:00 am outside of the main entrance to the Auburn Recreation and Wellness Center.

About the event
For the past 27 years, Dr. Doug Hankes, Executive Director of Student Counseling & Psychological Services, has led a 3-mile running tour of campus during each of the 12 Camp War Eagle sessions. Over the years, many other Auburn University faculty and staff members, including Mr. Eric Smith, Executive Director of Recreation and Wellness, have joined to help show parents parts of the beautiful Auburn campus they may not have seen before. In recent years, the 2-mile walk has become as popular as the run!
