Have you mastered top rope basics? Take your climbing to the next level at our Lead Climbing Workshop. You'll learn proper belay technique, equipment use and care, and clipping techniques for lead climbing at Auburn Outdoors' Climbing Wall. Our goal is to help you prepare for your Lead Climbing Skills Verification. Lead Climbing Skills Verification permits you to lead climb and utilize a GriGri at our Wall. Participants who take this workshop will automatically be registered for a Lead Climbing Skills Verification on March 7th from 1- 2 PM. Top Rope Skills Verification and the ability to comfortably climb a 5.10 are workshop prerequisites.
